Overview:
In the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup, former champions Zamalek and USM Alger headline a compelling cast that includes Wydad, CR Belouizdad, Kaizer Chiefs, Stellenbosch, Azam, ZESCO United and exciting debutants Nairobi United.
With the conclusion of the November international break, Africa turns its focus to the group stages of the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League, and the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup gets underway across the continent.
Reigning holders Pyramids will officially start their title defence in the Champions League, while giants like record 12-time champions Al Ahly, four-time winners Espérance de Tunis, South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns, Moroccan giants RS Berkane and AS FAR will all hope for a decent start.

On match day one, Pyramids take on Nigeria’s Rivers United, RS Berkane host Power Dynamos of Zambia, Al Ahly take on JS Kabylie, Mamelodi Sundowns face St. Eloi Lupopo while Stade Malien visit Esperance.
In the Caf Confederation Cup, Zamalek host ZESCO United and Al Masry take on South Africa’s Kaizer Chiefs with Nairobi United travelling to Wydad in Morocco on their debut group stage match.
Elsewhere, OC Safi visits Djoliba, and Maniema Union lock horns with Tanzania’s Azam.
Two matchdays will be played before the start of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025.
The group phase will pause during the continental showpiece and resume in January 2026.
