Vastly experienced sports administrator William Fredrick Blick was sworn-in as a board member for the National Lotteries and Gaming Regulatory Board.
Blick, a former president of Uganda Olympic Committee (UOC) is now a board member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
He joins the team led by the Board chairman Ken Kitariko.
“We are honoured to welcome and extend our warmest congratulations to William Blick. He joins with his extensive leadership experience across global sports governance, business and community development. He is tasked with strengthening oversight, boosting responsible gaming, and driving growth in Uganda’s gaming industry.” a statement read.
The inauguration ceremony was presided over by His Worship Paul Edoku, the registrar of the High Court for the Judiciary of Uganda.
His Worship Edoku commended the Board for the impactful regulation and tasked members to continue with the spirit of serving Uganda.
