Uganda Women’s Football National Teams coach Sheryl Ulanda Botes has summoned a squad of 32 players to begin preparations ahead of the games against Zambia.

The Queen Cranes of Uganda will face Zambia in the third qualification round, seeking to keep thier hopes alive of playing at this year’s FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup.

The team largely comprises of players who eliminated Namibia at the second round last year, led by captain Desire Katisi Natooro and will for the next days camp at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.

The first leg will be played on 7th February 2026 at FUFA Stadium, Kadiba in Kampala with the return leg coming a week later in Lusaka.

To reach this stage, Uganda eliminated Namibia 5-0 on aggregate in the second round while Zambia got better of Burundi.

The winner on aggregate will face either Ghana or South Africa at the final qualification round to the World Cup.
