  • Kitara vs Express – Royal Park Butema – 4pm
  • SC Villa vs Mbarara City – Fufa stadium, Kadiba 8pm

After faltering in their last game in a 2-1 defeat to BUL, SC Villa will now focus on reacting with a victory when they host Mbarara City at Fufa stadium, Kadiba.

The Jogoos will be favourites against the Ankole Lions who come into the game on the back of troubles that saw them play with only eleven players in their draw with Lugazi.

They have since suspended key players in Henry Kitegenyi, Ibrahim Thembo and Fahad Emuran who all missed the game against Lugazi in Kamwenge.

Villa could have Misi Diego Ssemugera back after he missed the loss to BUL and it remains to be seen whether Ibrahim Kasinde will be restored to the starting XI after his place was taken by Patrick Kakande.

The two alongside Hassan Mubiru, Frank Ssebuufu and Aslam Ssemakula will be key if the 17-time champions are to win and keep pace with leading pack.

In the past 13 meetings, Villa hold edge with eight victories [L3, D2] and have won four of the past five matches.

Mbarara City are on 11 points in the bottom two with only Calvary collecting less points; three at the stage.

Elsewhere on Wednesday, Kitara host sleeping giants Express at Royal Park, Butema.
