For the first time since the 2014/15 season, Police have an opportunity to complete a rare double over BUL.
The two sides face off in the premier league at Kiira Road Police Arena in Kamwokya on Tuesday.
The Cops beat BUL 3-1 in the reverse fixture at Fufa Technical Centre, Njeru with Daniel Jakony, Bedia Ikamba and Brian Obedi getting the goals while Karim Ndugwa scored BUL’s consolation on the day.
Alex Isabirye’s side have gone three matches without a win in all competitions and he is aware of the threat the Cops pose.
“We haven’t won in the past three matches and the target is to get back to winning ways,” said Isabirye.
“Police is one of the most difficult sides to beat this season and we have to be at our best to win,” he added.
Police will still miss the services of Bedia Ikamba who is suspended following a red card in the win over Lugazi but have Charles Bbale, Umar Kasumba and ex-BUL forward Lawrence Tezikya to threaten the visitors’ backline.
Police are 6th on the table 32 points and need a win to stay in title contention while BUL are 8th with 20 points.
