Semifinals (10th April 2026):

  • Mukono Kings Vs Central College Kabimbiri
  • Seroma Christian High School Vs Dynamic Secondary School

The 2026 Mukono District USSSA Football Championship has reached the semi-final stage.

This followed the successful completion of the quarter finals that proceeded the grueling round of 16, 32 and group stage level.

Four schools remain standing in boys’ football; Central College Kabimbiri, Mukono Kings, Seroma Christian High School and Dynamic Secondary School.

The semi-final match up has Dynamic against Seroma Christian High School whilst Central College Kabimbiri will tussle Mukono Kings in the other duel on 10th April 2026.

St Joseph’s S.S Nagalama and Ndwandemutwe Seed Secondary School are the semi-final venues whilst the final match will be staged at St Joseph’s Nagalama.

Timothy Tirulaga, head coach at Central College Kabimbiri anticipates a close contest against Mukono Kings.

“We have come from a long way. I salute the players, my fellow coaches and management for the brave effort. The semi-finals and finals are coming up. These are tough matches to be played. There is nothing we are leaving to chance but hard work” Tirulaga attested.

From some of the quarterfinal games played; Namilyango College played to a goalless draw with Central college-Kabimbiri.

Central College Kabimbiri won the derby contest 3-1 past Latifah Mixed with Akram Sajjawe, Mark Majwega and Joel Ssozi on target for the victors whilst Kawalya grabbed the consolation.

Dynamic S.S edged Central College Kabimbiri in the other duel as they both qualified to the last four stage.

The successful three schools qualify to the national championships due in Lira come May 2026.
