2025/26 Uganda Premier League:
- Entebbe UPPC 0-1 KCCA
Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Football Club recorded a hard-fought 0-1 victory on the road over Entebbe UPPC at the lake side Fisheries Training Institute in Entebbe on Tuesday, 21st April 2026.
Sammy Reynold Ssebadduka scored the all-important goal with 18 minutes left on the clock during the well-taken attended duel played under sunny conditions.

The visitors had dominated the game for long spells although finishing remained the main under-doing.
Entebbe UPPC goalkeeper Rogers Omedwa was well positioned to tip over a dipping header from KCCA skipper Garvin Kizito Mugweri on 18 minutes.
Saidi Mayanja got close five minutes later but his shot was blocked inside the goal area by M

It was KCCA again with Brian Jjara’s shot off target within the home team’s goal area.
Entebbe UPPC’s threatening first attempt at the KCCA goal arrived six minutes to the end of the opening stanza when Abraham Kakensa Tusubira’s dangerously swung in cross from the right was parried away by goalkeeper Mutwalibu Mugolofa.
The opening 45 minutes failed to produce any goal.

KCCA forward Ivan Ahimbisibwe had a free-kick from 35 yards fly over. On the hour mark, Ambrose Kigozi, Entebbe UPPC’s lead forward shot over as he approached the goal area from the left with Kyeyune.
Substitute Julius Poloto, a former KCCA skipper now at Entebbe UPPC had a cross executed from the left well defended.
Moments later, Kigozi’s header was saved by goalkeeper Mugolofa off Noordin Bunjo’s inviting corner kick.

The defining moment of the game arrived in the 72nd minute when Ssebadduka raced onto Mugweri’s ball from the defence.
Goalkeeper Omedwa hesitated and Ssebadduka was quicker to flip the ball over the advancing goalkeeper before the Canada born forward sprinted to head the ball into an open net.
Kigozi attempted to shoot from distance in the 77th minute but the effort was off target.

Attempts by the hosts to equalize were frustrated by KCCA’s stable defence as they fetched maximum points, good enough to keep track of the leaders, Vipers who won 2-0 on the road at Buhimba United Saints.
Vipers now has 55 points, four better than second placed KCCA with 51 points.
