AFCON U-17 Finals 2026 (Morocco):

Uganda’s U-17 national head coach Laryea Kingston has released the final 27-man squad for the 2026 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations due in Morocco.

The team is skippered by Owen Mukisa of Vipers Junior Team.

The three goalkeepers on this team include Geofrey Mubiru (Amus College School), Adrian Mukwanga (Vipers Junior Team) and Ashraf Lukyamuzi (Kyadondo S.S).

The 2026 AFCON U-17 will kick off on May 13 in Morocco. Uganda is in Group B alongside Côte d’Ivoire, Cameroon, and DR Congo.

All quarter-finalists will qualify directly for the FIFA U-17 World Cup, while two additional teams will secure qualification through playoffs.

Last year, Uganda qualified for the FIFA U-17 World Cup after edging The Gambia in the play-offs.
