Black Stars Football Club won the 2025/26 Kampala Regional championship.

On the final match day of the season, Black Stars edged Edgars 1-0 at the Muteesa II Wankulukuku stadium in Kabowa on Sunday, 7th June 2026.
Benon Lutaaaya scored the all-important goal on the evening.


Black Stars won the title with 54 points fetched from 36 matches played across three rounds in the new FUFA format of play experimented.
The champions also had a clean sweep of the individual accolades.
Benon Lutaaya completed the season with 22 goals to win the top scorers and most valuable player (MVP) accolades.
Siraje Masembe was outstanding goalkeeper of the season.

Black Stars director Ali Kabajja, a medical doctor at Mulago Hospital was overwhelmed with the victory, handing over Ug.Shs 5,000,000 to the team as a reward.
Proline who edged Born Talent 2-0 on the final day of the season finished the season in second position with 50 points.




Relegated:
Lungujja Galaxy (13 points), Kireka United (21), Lufula (29) and Buganda Road (31) were all relegated to the province league.
