Uganda’s She Cranes skipper Peace Procovia returns home on Monday evening, after completing her four mouth professional stint with England Netball Club – Loughborough Lightning.
The multi-talented lady turned professional after her performances in last year’s world cup qualifiers held in Botswana attracted suitors.
The 2014 USPA Netball player of the year arrives in a timely mode with just few days to the highly awaited USPA Gala scheduled for this Saturday at Imperial Royale Hotel. The aforementioned event will see 2014 best sports personalities get to receive their awards.
The 6.4ft athlete has been a pivotal player for her club in England Netball League and this was verified after she won the League Coaches player of the year award, although her team didn’t compete enough for the league title.
The She Cranes are expected to bank on Peace Proscovia’s experience come this year’s Netball World cup in August. The prestigious event will be staged in Sydney, Australia from 7th-16 August.
