For Matsiko, a seasoned right back who spent the last three campaigns at champions Vipers having joined from Wakiso Giants, the goal is to bolster the position that had Jonathan Odong last season.

Odong, named in the UPL XI last season could be on his way out with URA and NEC chasing his signature.

For most parts last season, centre back George Kiryowa filled in at right back when Odong was unavailable.

Entebbe UPPC ended their debut campaign in sixth place with 51 points.

Mugulusi and Matsiko join midfielder Sharif Sengendo who joined from KCCA in a re-union with Mubiru who coached him at Lugogo.
