Kenya Police Bullets made light work of South Sudanese outfit Yei Joint Stars to reach the final of this year’s CAF Women’s Champions League CECAFA Zonal Qualifiers.
In the second semifinal played on Saturday at Kigali Pele Stadium, the Kenyan club cruised to a comfortable 5-0 victory.
Martha Amnyolete orchestrated the damage on Yei Joint Stars, bagging a brace while Teddy Obunyu, Lorna Nyabuto and Rebecca Okwaro added a goal each.
Kenya Police Bullets have had a remarkable run in the tournament, winning all their games so far. They will face Uganda’s Kawempe Muslim Ladies, who have equally been perfect.
Kawempe Muslim overcame CBE from Ethiopia 3-0 in the first semifinal played at the same venue thanks to goals from Jovia Nakagolo, Agnes Nabukenya and Tigist (own goal).
Kawempe Muslim and Kenya Police Bulelts will face off in the final on Monday, 31st August 2026, with the Champion earning the sole ticket to represent the CECAFA Zone at the final tournament.
