Kitara want to earn a first leg advantage when they ‘visit’ Mogadishu City in the first leg of the Caf confederation Cup preliminary round at Hoima City stadium.

The Somalia side hosts the match in Hoima as they don’t have a Caf required stadium in their home country and this tilts the advantage in Kitara’s favour.

Head coach George Lutalo has called on the fans to fill the stands and give all the necessary support to the lads to get past the Somalia counterparts.

“Playing in Hoima gives us the advantage and the fans should come and be behind us because we need to win,” said Lutalo who will be in charge as Wasswa Bbosa is still studying his CAF A course.

Lutalo also promised the fans a decent victory and good entertaining football.

“I am confident in my players to do well. We have sharpened them and we expect goals and entertainment,” he stated.

This will be the first ever international game at Hoima and the Royals will come into the game as favourites despite being the ‘away side on the day.

It will be the second time for Kitara in the Caf Confederation Cup and the target will be to play in the group stages.
