Heathens were awarded a walkover in the Uganda Cup quarter finals after their opponents Mutoni Warriors insisted on fielding Zeno Otieno who is serving suspension from the Uganda Rugby Union.
Heathens will now face Buffaloes who saw off Sadolin Mongers 30-25 after extra time in a heated contest played at the Kyadondo Rugby Grounds on Saturday evening.
At Legends Pirates, led by Marvin Odong defeated Makerere Impis 21-03 in a tie the flank touched down twice.
It was the Kobs who crowned the evening with a 29-16 win over the Rhinos.
Kobs tries came through Oscar Kalyango, James Ijongat, Micheal Amolo and Keith Sseruyange.
“It’s about focus and that’s what we are doing. Taking every game as important and now we are looking at the semis,” Kobs new skipper Oscar Kalyango told Kawowo Sports.
Kobs will face Pirates in seven days time at the Legends Grounds, on the same day Heathens and Buffaloes will also face off.
