Simba 3-0 Toto Africans

Uganda Cranes’ defender Murushid Jjuuko staged yet another solid display as Simba humiliated Toto Africans 3-0 in the Vodacom Premier League at the Uhuru Stadium in Dar es salaam.

A brace from Muzamir Yassin and another from Burundian import Laudit Mavugo won the day for the msimbazi based side.

Jjuuko was once again outstanding at the heart of defence with timely ball interceptions as well as building play from the backline.

Simba consolidates the summit spot with 29 points after 11 matches while Yanga are second with 21 points after 10 matches .

Meanwhile, Yanga whipped Kagera 6-2 at the Kaitaba Stadium in Bukoba.

Zimbabwean Donald Ngoma, Zambian Obey Chirwa each got a brace. The other goals were scored by Simon Msuva and Deus Kaseke.

Mbaraka Yusuf grabbed the host team’s two goals on the day to give the final scoreline a respectable second look.

Tanzania Prisons and Mbao FC shared the spoils at the Sokoine memorial Stadium in a one all stalemate.

The other game witnessed African Lyon overcome Mbeya 2-0 with Tito Okello and Rehani Kibinja scoring the day’s goals for African Lyon.
