Congo Brazzaville players, officials and about 40 fans arrived in Uganda on Wednesday night at Entebbe International Airport via a chartered flight.

Led by their veteran French coach, Pierre Lechantre, the group touched down at Entebbe by 10:35 p.m with a private jet offered by the Government of Congo Brazzaville.

They were received by the FUFA Protocol team and driven straight to the team hotel at Hotel Africana in the heart of Kampala City.

Lechantre told the media that he respects Uganda but the game on Saturday is their turning point in the campaign having lost their opening group E to Egypt.

I respect Uganda Cranes.

They are a physical side and pass the ball as well. We need this game having lost to Egypt in Brazzaville.

There are 23 players on the side after Lechantre named the final traveling team on Tuesday.

Training Programme:

On Thursday afternoon, they will train at Nakivubo stadium and on the following day, they will shift to Nelson Mandela National Stadium for the last training as mandated by the CAF and FIFA regulations.
