HT: KCCA 2-1 Tusker
It has taken hosts Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Football Club 26 minutes to score against recently crowned Kenya Premier League champions Tusker in the international club friendly match being played at the Phillip Omondi stadium, Lugogo in Kampala.

KCCA had a goal advantage by the half time whistle of FIFA referee, Mashood Ssali.
Forward Derrick Nsibambi put KCCA ahead with a superb strike after a hesitated effort by the visiting defence line to clear the ball.
The strike was a coating for the outstanding performance from the home team in the earlier minutes of the game.
As early as the second minute of the game, former Tusker player, Ronald Musana was brought down at the edge of the area. Joseph Ochaya’s curled effort from the resultant free-kick flew over the goal bar
Tusker’s Cercidy Okeyo linked up well with skipper Danson Kago with a well executed diagonal pass but the KCCA backline was alert for a clearance.
The visitors’ first attempt at goal was in the 9th minute when Clifford Alwanga shot from 25 yards out but it was easy collection from goalie Benjamin Ochan.
Four minutes later, Paul Mucureezi’s heavy touch on the ball intended for Geoffrey Sserunkuma denied KCCA an opportunity.
Joseph Ochaya headed narrowly wide in the 21st minute off a telling cross from KCCA team skipper Denis Okot.
Mucurezi blasted wide a Mutyaba laid ball before the hosts’ goalie Benjamin Ochan parried a deflected ball.
In the 26th minute, Nsibambi shot KCCA into the lead and doubled the advantage a minute to the mandatory half time mark.
For the second, the diminutive center forward tapped home Ochaya’s grounder from the left.
Anthony Ndolo pulled a goal back for Tusker after Kavuma losing possession, one that creates some hope ahead of the next 45 minutes.
