Elgon Group: Artland-Katale 3-0 Bright Light

Arajab Waiswa, Arafat Kinanya and Bliss Kityo scored for Artland-Katale in their 3-0 win against Bright Light in the only Elgon group game played on Saturday at Kamuli district play ground.
This was the second successive 3-0 result for Artland-Katale in a space of three days after defeating Moroto United on Thursday.
Elsewhere, debutants Airtel-Kitara defeated 1-0 against Kataka at the Boma play ground in Hoima.
Left footed defender Joel Oscar Munihizi headed home the lone strike of the day in the 21st minute of the game off a curling corner in a game where the visitors protested officiation by the day’s referee.
Water subjected Mbarara City to their first loss of the season, winning 2-1 at the Kibuli S.S play in yet another fixture marred by protests of officiation.
