Midfielder Ronal Musana has confirmed leaving KCCA FC, just six months after joining the club.
Speaking to Kawowo Sports, Musana who has been integral in the first round of the league for the champions said his contract with the club expired and the two parties failed to agree on a new deal.
“I signed a short term contract on arrival,” he explained. “There was an option to renew but the club failed to match my terms and I had no option but leave. I wish them all the best,” he added.
The versatile Musana has flourished in Mike Mutebi’s 3-5-2 system as a right wing back and his departure will no doubt have an adverse effect on the club.
Although his destination remains a mystery, there are reports he is headed back to Kenya with either Nakumatt or AFC Leopards.
Previously, Musana has played for SC Villa and The Saints in Uganda, KCB and Tusker in Kenya from where KCCA snapped him.
The Kasasiro have already loaned Hakim Ssenkumba, Martin Mpuuga and Brian Ochwo among others to Police and are yet to confirm any new signings.
They have consistently been linked to Express’ Ibrahim Saddam Juma in the window which closes next week.
