Kataka 1-0 Mbarara City (Aborted in 85th minute)

For the second time in a period of less than five days, a FUFA Big League match has been aborted.
Kataka versus Mbarara City match was aborted with 5 minutes left on the clock with the former leading 1-0 at their new Nabini playground in Mbale District.
The reason for the premature abandonment of match was attributed to poor officiating, and the visitors walked out in protest after a series of what they termed unfair calls.
Derrick Onyai had scored Kataka’s goal on the day in a match the home team missed two penalties after goalkeeper Muhammed Ssekeba saved off Daniel Mugwanya and Onyai.
The abandonment comes days after Busia Fisheries walked out in protest during their match with Kira United at the Kira Town Council play ground.
By the time of the match abortion, Kira United were 2 goals up until Busia Fisheries scored and the referee on the day, William Oloya disallowed the goal for offside.
The FUFA Competitions department will come up with a ruling shortly concerning the two games in question.
