JMC Hippos 1-1 Lweza

Jinja Municipal Council Hippos played to a one-all draw with visiting Lweza F.C at the Kakindu Stadium in Jinja on Saturday.

Diminutive though pacy winger Herbert Odipio was on target for George Bbosa Lutalo’s side, for the first time this season.

The strike from the former BUL F.C player arrived right at the end of the first half before the players returned to the Kakindu renovated locker-rooms.

It was joy short lived as John Wesley ‘Neymar’ Kisakye had other ideas altogether.

The intelligent center forward cum winger brought the game level inside the opening two minutes of the second half.

The two sides thus played to a one all draw, a result that leaves either teams not so safe from the relegation politics and talk.

JMC Hippos lingers at the bottom of the 16 team log with their 7th stalemate of the season and remains the only side yet to taste a league victory.

On the other hand, Ibrahim Kirya’s Lweza, who gallantly fought for a  points in the 2-2 draw with giants SC Villa last week,  is 12th with 20 points fetched off 19 matches played.
