Cory Leslie has revealed he is excited and proud to be representing USA at the 2017 Kampala World Cross Country Championships due Sunday at Kololo Independence Grounds.
The George Mason assistant cross country and track coach will be featuring for country the fourth time, this particular outing – his first world championship.

“Any time you get a chance to not only do what you love but also represent your country is certainly an honor,” the 27-year-old runner said.
“It is hard to not be excited about that chance. I’m really excited to get over there, travel and compete with the best in the world.”
After competing in the 4x1K relay at the Great Edinburgh Cross Country meet last year in Scotland, mixed relay will not be new to him.
