Two of the disgruntled KCCA players Brian Majwega and Tom Masiko are part of the 23 man team named for the Western Region tour.

The pair has of late been out of favour at KCCA FC – who play Tunisia’s Club Africain tonight in the CAF Confederation Cup – and have not been used by team manager, Mike Mutebi.

However, they find temporary refugee at the national team ahead of the tour and CHAN 2018 qualification process.

National team head coach Milutin Sredejovic defended the decision to include the two players on grounds of utilizing their full potential vis-à-vis ‘domestic problems’ with their mother club.

The national team departed for Kabale on Friday morning ahead of the final training session at the Kabale stadium.

On the 23 man side is another KCCA youngster Lawrence Bukenya.

The team has three goalkeepers, eight defenders, eight midfielders and four strikers.
