- Uganda 37-39 Fiji

Uganda She Pearls will play South Africa in classification game for places 5-8 after falling short against Fiji in the Netball World Youth Cup quarters finals.
Uganda led 12-7 after the first quarter but were limited to 5 goals in the second quarter as Fiji drew level at 17 by halftime.
The She Pearls had a one goal advantage (28-27) going into the fourth quarter of the game that seemed a goal for goal encounter in the third frame.
Fiji took the lead at the start of the third quarter feeding off She Pearls contact errors and footwork violations. Sin binning Seera who had been switched to Goal Keeper didn’t do any good for Uganda who at the point were trailing by 6 goals (37-31).
Uganda’s resurgence was too little to late as time ran out two goals short of Fiji.
Uganda will thus play South Africa in the classification game as Fiji take favourites New Zealand in the semifinal.
