- Warriors vs. City Oilers – 8:00pm
- KIU Rangers vs. Lioness – 6:00pm

Warriors were the last champions of the National Basketball League before the City Oilers slowly but surely started dominating local basketball.
The Kyambogo based side has never returned to the finals since their 4-2 win over Falcons in 2012 but many within the organization believe they are good enough to return to the championship round this year.
After successfully negotiating their way around UCU Canons and Power for a 6-0 start to the season, Warriors’ credentials will be put to test again when they face four-time champions City Oilers at the Lugogo Indoor Stadium on Friday night.
Ronnie Mutebi, the man in charge at Warriors downplayed the pressure that comes along with playing a game of such magnitude but admitted it will definitely gauge their credentials.
“The pressure is on City Oilers not us. We intend to give the game our best shot and effort but we will take it like any other game,” Mutebi told Kawowo Sports. “This game means a lot to us. We want to use such competition to weigh our preparation and readiness for playoffs,” he added.

While Oilers performance has so far been below par losing to Power, UCU Canons and recently Ndejje University Angels but they looked like the true self in the 73-64 win over contenders KIU Titans.
If such a performance is replicated tonight, Warriors will have a lot on their plate.
Jimmy Enabu is yet to come to the party and so is Landry Ndikumana and Ben Komakech. Juruni will need the trio to step up and match the energy of not only teammates Stephen Omony and James Okello but aggressive Warriors.
Veteran winger Mike Buzangu who has been the go to man for Warriors was unplayable against Power dropping a season high 36 points and will be key in Warriors offense but without doubt Mutebi will need the same energy from his bench.
