Express FC not only target a victory to leave the relegation zone but also out to become the first side this season to beat Maroons home and away.

The Red Eagles dropped to the unwanted red zone again this week after rivals Proline and UPDF all garnered maximum points and failure to pick points at Maroons will leave them in danger of going down.

But in Asaph Mwebaze’s side, they face a stern test against a team that has snatched at least point from all teams this season including title chasing trio of Vipers, SC Villa and KCCA home and away.

The hosts will have midfield gem Felix Okot back after serving a one match ban to partner with Ronald Orombi who has proved a spoiler in the midfield.

Upfront, Mwebaze will hope forwards Alex Wogalo, Solomon Walusimbi and Patrick Gonahasa are in fine form to tear apart a side that has won three of their past four games without conceding.

For Express, the hope will be vested in Michael Birungi, Jalil Zimula and on and off Joseph Semujju to look for goals.

They also have former Maroons striker Isaac Kisujju in their ranks who will have a point to prove to his former employers.

Maroons are comfortably 6th on the log with 34 points while Express are second from bottom on a 16-team table with 25 points.

The six time champions won the reverse fixture at Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku 2-0.
