Defending champions, City Oilers cruised past Tigerhead Power winning 4-0 in the best of seven series. The Friday clash was one Power needed to win with City Oilers leading 3-0. Instead, City Oilers took the win beating the finalists 87-75. Kawowo Sports’ Aisha Nakato was at YMCA to capture a few of the moments of the final.
City Oilers trio of Kami Kabangu, Jimmy Enabu and Ben Komakech were the best performers for the champions contributing 24, 24 and 22 points respectively.
Norman Blick (19), Phillip Ameny (16) and Abdullah Ramadhan (16) were the main contributors for Power albeit in a losing effort.
City Oilers now have two championships in a row and seem destined to dominate for a while.
