Uganda Cranes coach Mulitin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic was left irked after he couldn’t use youthful KCCA striker Derrick Nsibambi in the friendly against Zambia due to lack of a passport.

The youngster has been brilliant for his club this season scoring three goals in as many previous games and also netted one of the goals in the Cranes win over Kampala Select side on Saturday.

“I regret that the 57th player since I came here 3 and half years doesn’t have passport and this I have no words to answer,” he told a press briefing in the aftermath of a 1-0 loss to Zambia.

Although authorities from KCCA and perhaps the FA were working on securing a passport for the player before Saturday, Micho said.

There is no way I can throw him into the thick of things on Saturday. The game against Zambia would have been perfect for me to see what he can bring in an international game.

Nsibambi is among the players the ex-SC Villa has dropped as he remains with a sizeable number to concentrate on.

The others are Express’ Ibrahim Saddam Juma, SC Villa’s Abdulmalick Vitalis Tabu and Finland based forward Yunus Sentamu.

The trio joins Denis Okot Oola, Godfrey Lwesibawa, URA central defender Richard Kasagga Jjuuko, Vipers’ trio of Halid Lwaliwa, Keziron Kizito, Erisa Ssekisambu, Soana’s Allan Kayiwa and URA midfielder Shafik Kagimu who were released earlier.
