Top pool player Jacinta Kajubi, overwhelmed Farida Nalukwago 4-0 in a best of seven final at the Alleygators Alley, Garden City on Saturday night to claim the Pool Queen Championship 2011.
Kajubi, who recently delivered a baby girl claimed even after being a mother she still had the energy left to win the tournament. Enroute to winning the one day tournament she upset last year’s winner Brenda Tendo in the round of sixteen.
She won herself a crown, a trophy, medal and 500,000 while Nalukwago walked away with a medal and 250,000. This year’s edition was the third being organised by Pool Association of Uganda. It attracted 64 participants from 32 clubs and it was sponsored by Pepsi, D-Mark and Alleygators.
