League giants SC Villa and KCC FC are struggling in the Bell Lager Uganda Super League after three rounds played so far.
SC Villa yesterday battled to a goalless draw with Proline FC at Mutesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku. The record 13 times league champions have gone 270 minutes without scoring a goal and started their campaign with a 1-0 loss to Masaka LC and last week they where held by Police FC 0-0. “You can see for yourself the players are their and are getting so many chances, but they can’t put them away,” Zivojnov Srdjan, the club’s Serbian said. “Today we created so many chances and we are struggling infront of goal.”
Villa lies 13 in the 16 team league with two points out of three outings. KCC was on the receiving end away to league champions URA going down 2-1 with the Yellow boys taking the lead through Tom Masiko and former KCC players Hamis Kitagenda equalising. Henry Kisekka scored a late winner in injury time.
It was KCC’s second back to back defeat after going down to Water FC 2-1 last week. KCC lies tenth with three points out of three games they started their campaign strongly beating Utoda 4-1
