Local soccer governing body FUFA has announced three centers to buy tickets for the Cranes/Harambee stars game on October 8 at Mandela stadium, Namboole.
“We now have three buying centers that is Hardware World in Ntinda, City Oil Petrol station Bakuli, City Shoppers, Mukono so all fans need to go to those centers to buy tickets,” Rogers Mulindwa, the FUFA publicist told the media yesterday at the stadium. “We shall arrest those that are trying to hide and inflate the tickets at the last moment.”
VIP tickets go for 50,000 shillings while Gold tickets are going for 120,000 shillings and 20,000 shillings for general seats.
Uganda’s last encounter at home against Guinea Bissau was a sell out with the stadium filling beyond its capacity nearly causing a stampede.
The federation is looking to make more than 700 million.
