Cranes national coach Bobby Williamson has expressed disappointment on the failure of Uganda Cranes qualifying for next year’s Orange Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea/Gabon.
“I disappointed by the result of the game today and we should have qualified if we had taken all our chances,” a dejected Williamson said after the Cranes game with Harambee stars. “The players are disappointed and have the same feellings after coming so close to qualifying.”
Uganda drew with Kenya 0-0 at Mandela stadium while Angola walloped Guinea Bissau 3-1 away to finish top of the group and qualify at the expense of Uganda.
