Former Africa Boxing Union super bantamweight champion Sande “Swico” Kizito lost to Alexis Kabore of Burkina Faso in a ABU super bantamweight title last week in Ouagadougou.
The Ugandan prize fighter put up a hard fought fight, but lost to his host and home-boy on unanimous points decision judge 1 Emmanuel Brenya scored the fight 112-118 in favour of Kabore, judge 2 Lateef Muiss scored the fight 113-114 to the winner judge 3 Fidele Damiba scored the fight 110-120 in favour of the Burkinabe.
It was the second time that the diminutive Kizito was losing a title fight in 2008 he lost a PABA title fight against Tabtimdaeng Na Rachawat of Thailand.
He now falls now to (12-9-1, 7 KOs).
