KCC falls to Bunamwaya

Kampala City Council put up a miserable show against Bunamwaya FC in the Bell Lager Uganda Super League this evening at  Mandela Stadium as they lost 1-0 their third game of the season.

Former KCC striker  Martin Muwanga was on the mark in the 79 minute as he steered his side into the lead with a diving header after receiving a right in swinging

cross from subsitute Joseph Mpadde.

KCC has now slumped to their third defeat of the season and now lie 12 in the league table having dropped 13 points out of six games. Bunamwaya moved to fourth on the 15 team log after the win.

KCC fans where furious and livid about their team’s game and said they will not tolerate more miserable football from their team.

The game between Utoda FC and SC Villa was washed out at Mutesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku. The game was scheduled for Super Sport thus incurring costs for the sponsors as this the second time that a game has been abandoned due to a soggy pitch.

In other games in the league Maroons FC lost to Bidco FC 1-0 at Luzira. Victors register their first win of the season against Police at Kakindu stadium winning 2-1 while Water FC beat home side Fire Masters 2-0 at Kavuma recreational sports ground.
