SC Villa’s coaching crisis continues as it apears that Serbian tactician Srdjan Zivojnov and coach Paul Mukatabara won’t be in the dug-out tomorrow. Sources from Villa park indicate that Magumba and technical director Joseph Kanaaba will be in charge of tomorrow’s game. Today’s training session has been behind closed doors at Namboole stadium.
Reports suggest that Zivo might have resigned under pressure but then perhaps a gentleman’s agreement has been reached. However it is very clear that Zivo has been sacked together with his assistant. Efforts to talk to Zivo have been fruitless as he refused to pick phone calls. Neither did coach Paul nor Kanaaba let out the information. It should be noted that Zivo missed yesterday’s training sessions and rumour was that he was meeting his bosses in Muyenga at the Club house. This comes at a time when SC Villa has a crunch tie against rivals Express FC tomorrow.
