Hoima(Busia Tigers) return to USL

Up-country side Hoima(Busia Tigers) has returned to the Uganda Super League under tough conditions set to them by USSL.

In a meeting held on Friday the USL and FUFA signed a memorandum in the spirit of the game on condition and timely deadline for Hoima must, pay 30 million to USLL by way of compensation of the financial implication of late admission to organize matches for Hoima immediately.

In the meeting it was told to pay 1 million to certify its Incorporation as an entity and also the same amount for its shareholding in USLL. The club has to meet those requirements by November 25. Uganda Super League Limited recognizes that Hoima(Busia Tigers) FC was promoted by FUFA from the Big League and satisfied the requirements of the FUFA Licensing Board.

However they didn’t meet the USLL requirement in time for admission and participate in the Bell Super League season 2011/2012.
