
Africa super middleweight champion Moses Golola and Andras Nagy have both promised an entertaining title fight this Friday at Hotel Africana when the two fighters contest for the vacant WKF intercontinental super middleweight belt.
“I have not travelled all the way from Hungary to come and lose this title fight,” a soft spoken Nagy said at the pre-fight press conference at Hotel Africana. “I am not going to reveal my style to people,but they should wait for an entertaining fight.”
It will be the Ugandan fighter’s first major fight that will lead him to greater fights in his career. The fight is being promoted by leading journalist Patrick Kanyomozi under his company Kweli Productions.
“I can’t wait for the fight and I want to send this man back to Hungary, but am not sure whether he will know where Hungary is,” the motor mouthed Golola said. “I have prayed for this moment for a long time and it has arrived this belt is going to remain here.”
World Kick-Boxing Federation, president Fritz Exenberg said that the winner of this fight will have a rematch in Europe and that they will be two more Ugandan fighters that will be given an opportunity to fight title fights in Europe and Asia, but he did not mention the fighters.
The main event will also feature six support fights with Kenya’s Kevin Owiyo taking on Kanda Kabonga from DR Congo it will also feature Sudanese fighters Michael Getbar from Southern Sudan taking on Abdul Nasser from Uganda in 70 kilograms while James Koul from Southern Sudan takes on Shakur Bwete of Uganda in 80 kilograms then John Ssebuyinza from Uganda battles Johnson Mugashya from Tanzania in 75 kilograms.
