Nile Rugby set for Jan 14th

The Nile special rugby league will kick off the season for rugby fans on January, 14th 2012. Defending champions, MTN Heathens will look to defend their title in a bid to equal the UTL Kobs winning record of 10 titles. The Heathens will also want to take the 4th unbeaten league title in their history.

Heathens will play the XFM Impis whereas the Buffaloes will host the 2011 Uganda cup losing finalists, G4S Pirates at Kyadondo club. Entebbe based Mongers will lock horns with Rhinos. Last year’s Uganda cup winners and record league winners Kobs will face Nile at Kampala club. Kobs are record league winners, 10 times and Heathens on 9.
