Simba FC runs riot in Bell USL

Army side Simba FC demolished Water FC 4-0 at the Mutesa II Stadium,Wankuluku at the start of the second round of the Bell Lager Uganda Super League. Today’s events  had three games played while two where not honoured this afternoon.

New signing Ivan Wava putted the army-side infront with a 78 minute strike and a minute later Nasser Kakoozai, turned striker to defender by put through in his own net to increase the Bombo side’s lead.

Robert Omunuk and returnee Godfrey Ssentongo added the fourth with a scorching shot to put the icing on the cake.

The win pushed Simba to seventh position in the league with 18 points out of 15 outings. Proline FC failed to honour its game against league leaders URA at Nakivubo stadium while Bunamwaya SC did the same against hosts Maroons FC.

Police FC held Victors FC to a goalless draw at Mandela stadium while Masaka LC nipped Bidco FC 1-0 at the Masaka Recreational ground.
