Former Warriors basketball coach Gad Eteu, is searching for a club to coach before the regular MTN FUBA basketball season swings into action later this month at the YMCA basketball court.
“I am looking to coach a local side before the season gets underway and I have received quite a number of offers that am yet to decide,” Eteu said. “I am already in negogiation with a side that I cannot disclose to you once the deal is done then I will reveal which club.”
The youthful coach hasn’t handled a club since 2010 when he parted ways with Kyambogo Warriors. “I am looking to coach a side for eight months as I build it to a certain point,” Eteu stressed. “The quite a number of up-coming sides that are playing some good basketball at the moment.”
Eteu, also handled the Falcons basketball club before parting ways with them over unclear reasons. He previously handled team Uganda to the Zone V basketball championships.
He has featured for Team Ikong in the Castle Lite Friday Night Lights basketball festival that will see teams battling in the semi-finals this Friday at Wandegeya.
