
KCC FC struck early to overcome its recent blues in the Bell Uganda Super League this afternoon against Masaka LC at the Mutesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.
Andrew Sekayombya, struck in the second minute from a chested ball off Michael Birungi too give his side their first win in three games in scrappy win that had KCC play a disjointed and at times erractic game.
Sekayombya, Siraje Turyamuhebwa and Michael Birungi, the club’s top scorer on several occassions put chances to waste. In the 71 minute a long shot by
Birungi caught Masaka’s custodian Fahad Katongole almost off his line, but he parried out of danger.
KCC has done a double over Masaka LC beating by a similar score at their fortress in the first round. The victory was the ninth for the Yellow boys who remain in sixth position with 34 points out of 23 games they are just one point short of Masaka LC who lie above them having played 22 games.
