Proline aim to cut gap on Bunamwaya SC. Kick Off 4.30pm, Nakivubo.
Abdallah Mubiru’s Proline FC host second bottom placed Hoima-Busia at Nakivubo on Tuesday evening with an ultimate aim to cut gap on third placed Bunamwaya SC. Proline are currently 4th on the table with 36 points and a win will put them with in a point of third placed Bunamwaya SC.
Mubiru may miss the services of U-20 international forward William Wadri who limped off at the death of the first half in the Hippos 4-0 win over Mozambique. Proline won the first
round duel 2-0 in Bugembe. The win was Coach Mubiru’s first league win since taking over the Head Coach role at the club while it was Peter Ogutu and Hoima-Busia first loss in the league.
Yusuf Mukisa back from international duty will lead the hosts back line with Apollo Razak and Paddy Muhumuzza dictating play in the middle. Gift Ali who came off the bench to set up Anthony Bongoole in the 1-0 win over Villa is still expected to be on the bench.
If Wadri doesn’t recover in time, Mubiru may opt for Julius Okocha to partner Anthony Bongoole in attack. Experienced heads in Ausi Kaya and Abubaker Tabula are expected at right back and left wing respectively. Martin Mugabi who was summoned on the Hippos squad, Issa Barasa and danger man Ayub Isiko are the players Coach Peter Oguttu must bank his hopes on if he is to achieve the desired result.
