Proline FC at last agreed to sign a deed of adherence with Uganda Super League (USL) sponsors Uganda Breweries and Supersport. Proline FC Director Mujib Kasule was the person at hand to put his signature on the deed’s dotted line on behalf of the club.
The club had refused to sign the deed citing that their players’ images were not protected by the deed. The USL Ltd confirmed that now Proline is entitled to the benefits from the league sponsors that include money and live games T.V coverage. However, they are only
entitled to the second round package this 2011/12 season and its assumed they will be shown live on T.V before the season closes.
Bunamwaya SC, Bidco FC and Victors FC are the other sides that signed the deed at the start of the second round. With Proline being the latest, its now official all the 16 teams in the league including late entrants Hoima-Busia FC have all signed. The club put pen to paper on Friday 27th/04/12.
