National men’s T20 league winners, Tornado cricket club met their first victory in the 50-over Multiple Industries cricket league after an 82- run win over Wanderers at Kyambogo oval yesterday. Batting prowess from veteran, Benjamin Musoke 80, Mitch Horracks 51, Frank Nsubuga’s half century gave Tornado 242 runs after the first innings.

accounted for the seven wickets. But still Nehal Bodi’s 46 and Isaac Lubega’s 21 were not enough to save Sam Walusimbi’s troops. Frank Nsubuga’s bowling experience was well exhibited in the second innings when he picked two wickets and only suffered 20 runs. Tornado’s Asadu Seyiga 3/18 and Irishad Suleman 3/20 shared three wickets apiece. Star man, Benjamin Musoke was crowned man of the match.
