Miracle snapped a three game skid with a 70-58 win over new comers Rez Life on saturday behind Raymond Bukenya’s game high 19 points. After their opening day loss to Warriors by as many as 57 points, Miracle (1-3) looked improved in their next two games though lost both by a combined 23 points. Miracle have been poor on the denfensive end of the floor and gotten into foul trouble early into games but nothing has undone them as much as lack of options on the bench.
Going into the Power game, Miracle will rely on Raymond Bukenya who has averaged 20.5 points in the last two games to lead their offense. Donald Ssali and Chris Kyambadde will help Miracle on both ends of the floor.
Isaac Lugudde is the man of the moment for defending champions DMark Power. The forward exploded for 26 points as Power (4-0) slipped past Giant Stormers 72-43. Power welcome back some of their players from the AND1-Allstar game including point guard Ben Komakech who posted an unusual 2 points in that game. Miracle are in for a mission impossible to hold off Power who have a plethora of scorers at both the front & back court.
Meanwhile in the women’s division A1 Challenge (3-1) will play last years playoff vistors Magic Stormers who have already lost to two of the top sides in the division – KCC Leopards and UCU Lady Canons.
