Uganda Cup final Preview: URA FC vs Bunamwaya SC

Clash of Titans as Bunamwaya SC takes on URA in the Bell Uganda Cup final.
DATE: 12TH/MAY/2012, WHERE: PECE STADIUM, GULU. KICK OFF 4.00PM
All roads this weekend lead to Pece stadium, Gulu district where the finals of the Bell Uganda Cup will be held. The highly anticipated finals pits league champions URA FC against Bunamwaya SC. With both teams still competing on both fronts (league and cup), it does not come much bigger as the winner of the tie will enrich the chances for a historical double this season. Unlike Bunamwaya SC who is in the finals for the first time, URA FC has played in the finals three times winning just once.

URA FC TEAM NEWS:

Coach Alex Isabirye is still sweating over the fitness of a number of his players. Ssentongo Robert, Vincent Kayizzi, Sula Bagala and Mubiru Sam are all injury doubts though the coach is optimistic they still have a chance to feature in the finals. Defender cum midfielder Asuman Alishe is also doubtful as he is doing his university examinations. Allan Owiny is expected to start in goal with Masaba Simeon, Sam Ssenkomi and either of Lawrence Ssegawa or Munaba Allan at left back, If Mubiru does not recover in time, Ssempiira Phillip will deputise at the heart of defence to partner Ssenkomi.
Skipper Manko Kawesa is expected to run the show in midfield. Said Kyeyune and Oscar Agaba may also complete the midfield trio.
Upfront, if passed fit. Robert Ssentongo will lead the line in a three man attack has Feni Ali Moses and either of Sula Bagala (doubtful), Nsumba Augustine or Ociti Benson.
MAN TO WATCH:

Moses Feni is the competitionโ€™s leading scorer with 5 goals and his form in the previous matches for URA makes him the perfect man to turn the tide in favor of his side. The midfielder has scored lots of important goals for the club in the recent weeks carrying the burden of scoring off the back of Ssentongo.
Probable Line up: (4 3 3):
Allan Owiny (gk), Masaba Simon, Ssenkomi Sam, Ssempiira Phillip, Munaaba Allan, Manko Kawesa (cpt), Said Kyeyune, Oscar Agaba, Ssentongo Robert, Feni Moses and Nsumba Augustine.
BUNAMWAYA SC TEAM NEWS:
There are no injury worries for Coach Edward Golola ahead of the epic clash. Only midfield gem Saddam Juma (not licensed) didnโ€™t travel with the squad to Gulu. Hamza Muwonge is expected to be in goal. The defence line comprise of the usual suspects Wadada Nicholas and Godfrey Walusimbi at the right and left back respectively while Sseku Ronald and Ssali Edward continue at the heart of defence.
Skipper Kimuli Robert, Hakim Ssekumba and Mpadde Joseph or Sserunkuma Simon are expected in the centre of the pack while the deadly of trio of Ceaser Okhuti, Tony Odur and magician Luwaga Kizito will lead the hunt for goals
MAN TO WATCH:

Ceaser Okhutiโ€™s return to the team coincided with the teamโ€™s improvement in performance. No wonder team mate Luwagga Kizito pointed him out as the man to score that all important winner that will decide the game. His pace and accuracy make him the man to unlock URA FCโ€™s slow backline.
