Ugandan international Musa Mudde will be in action tonight when his Sofapaka side take on giants AFC Leopards in the Kenyan Premier League at Nyao stadium. Sofapaka FC are on top of the table with 29 points while Leopards are second on 27 though the later has a game in hand. A win for Mudde’s side will extend their lead at the top and ensure they end the first round at the summit. They play a Leopards side that has dipped in form winning none of their previous three games on the trot.
The midfield gem is expected to patrol the midfield that will also have Harambe stars duo of Humphrey Mieno and James Situma as retired international John Baraza will lead the hunt for goals. Musa Mudde has a strong pillar upon which Sofapaka’s midfield has been built ever since he joined the club two seasons ago.
The two side have met six times in the league with Sofapaka winning three, losing twice and drawing once. One of the famous Sofapaka wins was a 4-2 under the helm of Sam Ssimbwa as head Coach. This is set to be Musa Mudde’s last game before he joins Cranes for the crucial month of June that sees the national team get involved in AFCON and World Cup qualifier. The Sofapaka-AFC Leopards game will be live of SS9, EAST at 6.00pm.
