Newly crowned Bell Uganda Cup champions URA FC can move a step closer to winning a double this season if they can beat Sam Timbe’s Police FC when the two sides meet this Friday in a league tie at Lugazi Municipal stadium. Alex Isabirye’s side has never lost a competitive game at the ground and will be favorites to bag maximum points.

Captain Manko Kawesa returns to the side after missing a number of games due to injury. First choice custodian Owiny Allan is a doubt but Brian Bwete is expected to deputise. Ociti Benson, a brace hero in their last league game against Villa on Tuesday will be facing his former employers. Robert Ssentongo who leads the goal scoring charts with 15 goals is expected to lead the hunt for goals.

However, they meet Timbe’s side that has not lost in their last four matches winning three and drawing just once in their last game against Bidco FC. Leading marks man Jimmy Kakembo and rejuvenated Bruno Olobo must be at their best upfront if the cops are to leave Lugazi with a point.

URA FC sit at the summit of the 16 team log with 53 points while Police are fourth from bottom on the 16 team log on 28 points. Manko Kawesa and Kayizzi Vicent netted in the first round fixture to give the tax collector a 2-0 win.
