Maroons FC host troubled Fire Masters FC

Tue: 29th/05/2012, Luzira Prisons grounds – 4.30PM
Maroons FC host Fire Masters FC in a league game to be played at Luzira Prisons grounds on Tuesday afternoon. The Prisons side that lost their last league outing 3-2 to Express FC courtesy of a ghost goal that didn’t cross the line will hope to return to winning ways against the Fire Fighters that have so far failed to honor their two previous fixtures.
With the relegation monster eating them up already, George Nsimbe’s side will be under no pressure something that may play in their favor as the Prisons side will be desperate to regain their winning touch.
George Abege may return to the side after missing the Express FC duel. Midfielder Tuliraba Alex who was superb in the 3-2 loss to Express FC may be rested after playing in the national U-20 side that has lost to the Uganda Cranes 3-1 at Namboole stadium in a warm up game this evening. Muyingo Christopher is definitely ruled out after receiving matching orders in their last game.
Maroons are 12th on the 16 team log with 33 points while Fire Masters are third from bottom on 21 points. Maroons won the first round fixture 2-1 courtesy of goals by Abege George and Akena Brian. Kiwalabye Dalausi scored the fire men’s consolation on the day.
