With the transfer window set to open next week, reliable sources at record league champions SC Villa have indicated that the side has set eyes on acquiring the signature of Bunamwaya’s William Luwagga Kizito and Police FC’s Arthur Ssemazi.
The duo put up fine performances for their clubs last season and their potential and footballing abilities have never been in doubt.
SC Villa coach
Mike Mutebi has always been a great admirer for the duo and it will be good news if the Villa Park side manage to land the players.
The Blues even tried to poach Arthur Ssemazi from the Cops in the January transfer window but somehow the deal didn’t materialise.
Yesterday, Joseph Kanaba the director of football at the club told Kawowo sports how the club was planning to invest in five new players with a blend of experience and youth but kept the details of the targets to his chest though he hinted at signing three experienced players and two young ones.
Luwagga Kizito’s contract with Bunamwaya SC expired at the end of last season but reports from the Wakiso based side is in talks with him to renew it. The status of Arthur Ssemazi’s contract with Police FC is not known but as usual, Kawowo sports will keep you posted on the developments.
